Half Nekkid Thursday: Masked Woman
I’ll put up the HNT photos first…I know that many of the HNT visitors don’t like reading my random crap and babble.

Site/blog trackers. We bloggers are generally a curious bunch. Perhaps the “sex” bloggers moreso than others? I’m a curious person. I like knowing where people are coming from; I’ll find sometimes that I’m blogrolled on someone’s blog whom I didn’t even know existed since they’ve never commented. I’ll see all sorts of cool info.
My general monthly numbers have been in a range of the 7000′s for visits and 1600′s for page views. My daily numbers are in the 200-300 range for visits and 500-700 range for page views. So imagine my shock when I glance at my site tracker this morning to find that my numbers have freakin exploded. (that’s the latest view of the tracker)
Back when I used to get the occasional Fleshbot mention, my numbers would generally double for a few days. My highest was actually the more recent Sugasm Top Three. In -one hour- today I exceeded my previous daily highs. How? My site was listed on indienudes.com. Not a picture, not a post, just a link right up at the top of the page. At first I giggled and thought it funny….thought it would die down…it didn’t. It kept on rolling with those high numbers. Then it hit me….oh hell, my bandwidth (which ended up being more ok than I thought) and then oh hell, my site tracker. See, I pay a very small monthly cost for the pro version of the site tracker. It gives me more detailed information, which I find fun. But that small monthly cost is based on page views….go above 25,000 and you’ll pay more. Go above 50,000 and I’ll pay significantly more. As I watched this happen, I realized that I had to email the site admin and ask for it to be removed. It was a fun ride. As I write this, I’m still getting referral hits but it dropped -seriously- because they did move my link from the front-and-center to a different category farther down, requires more scrolling than most horny people care to do I guess, lol. What’s funny? As I write this there have been 3600+ referrals from indienudes.com. Only one person from that swarm commented, and I may never hear from him again. But thanks, guy from the Netherlands!!
Speaking of countries…I scrolled through about 2000 visits of those 3600 – then I lost interest. Something like 50 different countries, with a few notable exceptions. China, for one. I’ve had visitors from China….somehow they can view Fleshbot but not indienudes. Croatia/Bosnia/Serbia are also missing, I noticed it because they’re about the only other countries in that continent that aren’t on the list. Due to the old Fleshbot nods and the Sugasm traffic, I do get international visitors…just not on this level.
Talk about site traffic on crack, geezus. Thankfully now it’s down to normal again.

Couldn’t agree more that as a blogger, I’m curious as hell about who’s reading, where they’re coming from, etc. Glad to hear I’m not the only one. And as BD says, 100 hits a day is cause for excitement.

As far as sitetracker goes, I am a fan too, but not pleased with how wordpress does not work well with sitetracker – at least, not as well as blogger does.

~ Yes, you can have some. I’ll gladly give some away so that I wear the pretty bras. I actually use Sitemeter, even the free one is nice. But I did get used to Blogtracker, which doesn’t work with WP for some reason…I liked the things I could see with that one. Sitemeter is a close second, but it still lacks just a bit…like I can’t tell it that I want to see the stats from X day to X day.

If it brings more people to your site who stick around and get to enjoy the lovely things you write (um, and heck yes, we like your babble), then so much the better, I guess. :)
Oh, and I think we like the mask too, but I hate to speak for everyone, so I’ll just say that I like it. :D

Interesting tidbit about the traffic! I don’t moniter my site much, Boy Toy checks that kind of stuff, and he’s usually too busy to look up my stats. But I’m preeeettty sure I don’t get as much hits as you do lol

Have we ever discussed how wickedly luscious your skin tone looks on the click throughs? Some people will rave about your eyes, your lips, your magnificent rack, but to me your skin tone sometimes takes my breath away. Please continue…and the mask does make it interesting.
~ Well I have to admit that part of that is the fact that sunlight is reflecting off of my somewhat pale skin, and adds a luminescence that just doesn’t come through in artificial light, sadly. But thank you =)
