And yeah, well, I think posting stuff out there on a blog means that, on a certain level, you want people to read you, see you. I’m not insensitive to visitors and comments, I admit it, and I’m quite aware that I get the most visits on HNT night. But I guess it’s fun and daring, posting these sexy pictures for all to see. Don’t think I’d do it without the anonymity ;)

Think I’m straying a bit off topic, though. If I understood correctly, your point was that you don’t like people who comment just because it’s what they “should” do. I understand, it makes the comment kinda meaningless… Myself, out of politeness, I try to visit and comment on everyone that comments on my HNT posts (when I can!). Maybe I shouldn’t do it this way, though, because maybe that makes for exactly the kind of comments you were talking about here… ;)

I hear ya on the *idea* of HNT comments and how sometimes they can come across. I’ve wondered the same thing before. I’ve said the same as you. I don’t read because of blog content necessarily. I read because I get engrossed with the blogger and I love the people. So I hear ya on that *smiles*
