HNT #10: Scrabble Series: Happy Slut!
These are the last of the Scrabble pics, and this will probably be my last post here at Blogger other than my “I’ve moved” post. As soon as I have it all prettied up for my house-warming party, I’ll let you all in on the new address.
Update on Kitty Rescue: Safely escorted her off the property. Was a bit rough, but we made it. She follows me like a puppy, so sweet and trusting and lovable. She followed me to my car, parked on the street in front of the building. As I held my driver’s side door open she hesitated but climbed in with a bit of coaxing. A minute later, she was on the seat and I could drive. At first she freaked out, ran to a few windows to see what the heck was going on, but never cried. Within a minute she went to the backseat and laid down. Calm as can be, I never heard a peep. Shortly thereafter, she purred herself to sleep on the drive to The Cat Lady. I felt bad leaving her, she was scared and other cats were around. Tomorrow after work I pick her up for either the humane society or a different no-kill shelter that has room to take her in. She’s on her way to a good home, but I’ll miss that little sweetie.

I’m actually not very good at playing Scrabble, myself. My brain doesn’t usually work that way. I can read a poorly typed sentence, typos and screwed up letters, but I can’t look at a jumble of letters and pick out words all the time.

Dragonmage – how it’s going depends on your POV. I was really seriously clueless on the whole domain/hosting business, and felt like a fish out of water trying to understand it all. In the end, GoDaddy is “not discriminatory” against adult sites on their paid hosting. Really, the only PIA right now is tweaking the theme because I’m a pickyass bitch. But sweet sexy intelligent Alec of Coy Pink is soldiering through it swimmingly, as CSS = Japanese + Russian to me.

And awww for the kitty! My cat used to be that well behaved, in a car. She’d sleep in my lap, or look out the window like a dog. Then I brought her to the vet, to get her spayed and declawed (yes, I know, cruel, but she’s an indoors cat and I wanted to keep my furniture). Ever since then, she’s a bitch to drive around in a car. Poor thing!
