HNT #5 and VibeReview: Sunflower G-Spot
What’s not to love about this toy? It’s silicone which means no weird smells. It’s waterproof which means you can take it in the shower. And the vibrations are pretty powerful, but still great for a beginner. However, they are powerful enough to be loud. It’s not loud when it’s buried in your pussy where it -should- be, but when you use it to tease the labia and clit it’s pretty loud at its highest setting (which you know is what I prefer). My only real complaint is that the dial is on the side – and I’ve found myself accidentally turning it down because of the way I hold it when I’m using it alone.
Unlike lesser quality g-spot vibes, this one has the vibe located closer to the curved tip. It has raised sunflowers dotted all over it which mean that it looks pretty and feels nice with the extra texture.
Did I mention it is waterproof? Which means I now have another shower toy. One I’ll actually use. Have used. Will use again. And again. A partner and I used it while in the shower last week. Or should I say, he used it and I succumbed to it. I leaned forward bracing myself against the front wall of the shower while the warm water poured down my back. One leg up on the side of the tub, and he slid the Sunflower into me from behind. My right hand crept down to finger my clit, but he grabbed my wrist and held it behind my back. He wanted me to have a g-spot only orgasm from this. He kept the speed at medium, teasing me. Shallow thrusting so that it rubbed just my g-spot. I had to reach down to turn down the hot water tap, as I was quickly getting overheated with the flush of oncoming orgasm. He found the spot, the one small OH GOD YES spot and cranked up the power, angling the toy so that it pressed my g-spot with as much pressure as possible.
The neighbors heard me…..they had to. I know I’ve stood in that bathroom in the morning when the apartment is quiet, getting ready, and I can slightly hear the whine of the hairdryer from our unknown neighbor who’s bathroom is just on the other side of the wall. Things echo in bathrooms…the vibrator and my loud moans….there’s just no way the neighbors didn’t hear. I hope I inspired them to go have some fun of their own….pity they’re not like me. I’ve never heard anything wicked through the walls.
*smiles* Oh yes, the toy…where was I….sorry about that little tangent there.
The picture on VibeReview makes it look red and glassy-shiny. It’s not. It’s deep pink with a soft matte glow to it, kinda. Translucent. The battery pack you can see up top, and the vibration section you see down near the tip. So there’s nothing in the center and it’s kinda flexible right there. If you try to angle the handle down to get more pressure on the g-spot, it doesn’t work – but pressing up on the whole shaft manages that aspect just fine. The tip isn’t too soft, but it’s still silicone. If you prefer something more firm that also includes ridges/texture, try out the G-Twist. For higher end choices that offer firmness, a rechargeable power source (!!!) and sleek sophisticated design, check out Liv (really intriguing vibrator, I must say) or Gigi (oooo even more intriguing, damn I have expensive tastes!!)
My men’s toy pick of the week: Nexus O – a hands-free prostate stimulation toy that looks so very very interesting.
